12/4/10 - Day 351
I startled this guy as he was roaming through our backyard during our first measurable snow.
Taken for Daily Shoot #384: "Find a composition today with a strong line or edge that cuts from one corner of the frame to the other." Diagonal antlers?

Really Obscure Beatles
11/20/10 - Day 337
Today's Daily Shoot assignment #370 was to use tungsten light. I used the opportunity to create another song set image from the Beatles, c. 1963. The sculpture is a replica from the National Archeological Museum in Athens, Greece.
Guess the song title.

Public Art x 4
10/28/10 - Day 314
Today's Daily Shoot #347 just screamed once again for going to the SymmetriCam on my smart phone: "Make a photograph today that has a strongly centered composition." The subject was selected based on a request from my Flickr friend @muffett68 to see more of the sculpture and building shown in yesterday's post.
This sculpture is a custom designed water feature for a 3 building campus project we completed about two years ago. Providing public art was part of the requirements necessary to obtain the municipal entitlements.
Check out my Flickr set on SymmetriCam shots for more images using this sculpture.

5000 Years Old
10/1/10 - Day 287
Today was dominated by a visit to the National Archeological Museum. There are thousands of artifacts that have been found, researched and displayed here, the earliest dating back to 7000 B.C. This Cycladic figurine dates back to c. 3000 B.C.

Asteroids Colliding
9/1/10 - Day 257
Shot for today's Daily Shoot assignment #290: "Make a monochrome photograph today. Either use a single color subject/background or make it monochrome in post." Subject was already b/w, however applied moonlight preset in Lightroom for the celestial effect.

6/5/10 - Day 169
Clouds, sun, clouds, sun, clouds... Hard to get a good color contrast shot today for the Daily Shoot #202. So, decided to use my "Paint the Scene" Lightroom preset instead.

Sax Man
4/25/10 - Day 128
Gloomy day today so I took the Daily Shoot Challenge: "Side lighting can emphasize texture and add depth to a photo. Make a dramatic photo with side lighting today." Took a piece of sculpture we have and placed it in front of a west facing window. Post-processing in B/W made it more dramatic and added depth.
