Newport Music Hall

My son's band, Shank Bone (shankbonemusic.com), was the opening act tonight at Newport Music Hall in Columbus, Ohio. This venue is the largest and most famous they've played to date. I was not going to miss it. Shank Bone did not disappoint and I was a proud pop. BTW, my son is the drummer.

I knew exactly what to shoot when I saw the Daily Shoot assignment #294: "A person's hands can tell a story. Take a picture of someone's hands today."  Our son's band came in from Ohio to play a set in the Buffalo Grove Days community festival.  He's the drummer and he agreed to be the subject.

Rockin' the House

Drove to Cleveland today to see our son's band play at Beachland Ballroom.  Great groove, people dancing, lighted hoola hoops, spotlights blazing. Shank Bone rocked the house!  Mom & Dad were pretty proud.  Click the link for the "runner-up" image at my Smugmug gallery.
