12/2/10 - Day 349
While at dinner tonight, I first read today's Daily Shoot assignment #382: "Make a photo today that features a hand in a creative way." SymmetriCam to the rescue!

Lines of Text
11/22/10 - Day 339
Horizontal lines is the subject of today's Daily Shoot assignment #372. Thought I would use this opportunity to combine the assignment response with another song title from the Beatles. I'm not going to judge this as obscure or obvious - I'll let my viewers make that decision. Now...name that tune.
And if you wish, name this book. The book title has nothing to do with the song title however. Answers will be posted on my Flickr Photostream.

Santana
11/9/10 - Day 326
Although it is early Tuesday morning, thought I'd try to get one more shot in for MacroMondays - theme "Personal Soundtrack". Check out my Flickr photostream for the name of the song if you don't figure it out.
Also submitting for today's Daily Shoot #359: "Isolate your subject today in a photo you create today. Eliminate every distracting element possible." The vingette helps the isolation.

10/27/10 - Day 313
Pinching the moon in response to today's Daily Shoot assignment #346: "Reaching up, reaching for, reaching out, or reaching in. Show the action of reaching in a photograph today." Another shot from the camera phone.

Rolling Stones...
10/22/10 - Day 308
did the song, Time Is On My Side. Inspired by today's Daily Shoot assignment #341: "Illustrate the idea of time in a photograph today. Be as literal or abstract as you want to be with your interpretation."

3 Point Spread
10/17/10 - Day 303
After a 40 mile bike ride this morning, I took a nap and woke up to the Bears being down by 3 points at the end of the 3rd quarter. While not pleased with that statistic, it did provide an opportunity for today's Daily Shoot assignment #336: "Make a photograph of three items arranged in a composition that pleases you."

10/15/10 - Day 301
How many times were you caught doing this as a kid? For me, plenty. Taken for today's Daily Shoot #334: "Illustrate the act or emotion of tension in a photograph today."

Reflection Deception
9/21/10 - Day 277
Squeezed into our tiny powder room this evening to use the mirror for today's Daily Shoot #310: "Use a mirror as part of a composition in a photograph today. Show yourself in the image if you'd like!" Thought I'd also try a little deception on the perspective at the same time. Check out the set-up shot at www.flickr.com/photos/jeffm211/5013034573/ to see the deception.

Great Day!
6/6/10 - Day 170
Beautiful day today (up until 2pm) which meant a great 40 mile bike ride and then hanging out on the deck. I checked the Daily Shoot #203: "Lens flare is typically avoided, but can be used deliberately to good effect. Make a photo with creative lens flare." I was able to fulfill that assignment and describe the day in one shot.

Train Reader
5/10/10 - Day 143
Today's Daily Shoot was "Pay attention to your surroundings today. Make a photo of something you walk by every day without noticing." Took a couple of potential shots during the day, but saw this one as I was finding my seat on the train home. I converted it to B/W to enhance the contrast between an "old time" image and the e-reader.

Sixty-One Years
3/28/10 - Day 100
Lin's folks celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary yesterday. I wanted a meaningful subject for my 100th day image, so I shot this before we took them out to brunch today.

Priorities
1/27/10 - Day 40
Lin told the surgeon that not messing up her nails was to be his second priority. Looks like he succeeded.
